- Bola berpusing-pusing. Berhari-hari disepak, jutaan kali menggelinding. Darmogandul melakukan itu. Gondal-gandul menggiring bola. Gandul-gandul pula jatuh bergulingan di tanah. Terus siapa yang jadi Sunan Bonang-nya? Inilah pembuka komentar ngawur piala dunia.

 

Dunia memang lagi berpesta. Pecinta sepakbola dimanjakan. Pagi siang sore malam laga para duta ditayang. Dan dari sana sedih dan ria saling berselang, mengiring kesebelasan yang diidolakan kalah atau menang.

 

Afrika Selatan tempat pesta itu. Negeri ini layak sebagai tuan rumah, sebagai apresiasi insani. Berhasil bangkit dari ‘perbedaan’ menuju sama dan sebanding. Nelson Mandela layak mendapat penghargaan itu. Negerinya terpilih sebagai penyelenggara sepak bola dunia, ajang persahabatan, persaudaraan, dan kompetisi negara sejagat.

 

Darmogandul adalah bagian dari itu. Dia dibenci sekaligus dipuji. Dan dia dicaci tapi tak dipungkiri tetap diharap-harap untuk kembali. Kepolosan dan kejujurannya menempatkan sang tokoh menjadi sinterklas yang paradoks. Kendati di balik itu tersembunyi radiks muasal manusia secara geneologis.

 

Darmogandul merupakan serat tua. Diasumsikan hasil olah rasa dan olah pikir pujangga sekaligus mistikus Jawa, Raden Ngabei Ronggowarsito. Bercerita tentang keyakinan pra-Islam yang syok ketika agama Allah makin bersinar. Para wali menerima perlawanan pseudo, harus saling adu argumen untuk mendirikan benang yang masih basah.

 

Adalah Butalocaya yang mendiami Gua Selomangleng di Kediri. Gua yang didefinisikan sebagai persinggahan awal ‘manusia getek’ saat perpindahan bangsa-bangsa di dunia itu terserak di tempat ini. Patung dan arca berdiri gagah. Segagah mereka yang percaya itu adalah tuhan yang harus disembah.

 

Di tempat ini dialog keras Butalocaya ‘penjaga keamanan mistis’ Kediri dengan Sunan Bonang terjadi. Sang Sunan merusak semua patung yang ada. Alibi guru Sunan Kalijaga itu untuk menyelamatkan rakyat dari sikap sirik. Tapi Butalocaya berasumsi patung dan arca taklah sirik. Itu sebagai bentuk penghormatan manusia Jawa terhadap makhluk lain yang tidak kasat mata tetapi ada.

 

Debat makin keras dan mengarah SARA. Serat ini kemudian dilabelisasi sebagai ‘kalam wadi’. Tulisan berdasar ungkapan hati kecil yang (harusnya) tak setiap orang boleh membaca dan menikmati. Namun apa hubungannya dengan piala dunia yang saat ini sedang berlangsung?

 

Darmogandul adalah lambang laki-laki. Dia eufemisme dari kejantanan. Jantan secara harafiah. Dari jantan keras, tegas, ngawur, dan juga kasar, sampai jantan berimplikasi kriminalisasi. Darmogandul layak sebagai padanan dari piala dunia kali ini.

 

Dari sanepan (kata bersayap yang berfungsi sebagai ramalan) itu, maka kelak yang tampil sebagai jawara tak lagi seperti Italia yang memboyongnya tatkala laga di Jerman. Atau Perancis yang sekadar membangun tembok tebal di pertahanan. Tetapi yang kuat, keras, dan ngototlah yang bakal lahir sebagai juara.

 

Tanda-tanda itu sebagian sudah terjadi. Inggris draw lawan Amerika Serikat. Yunani kalah lawan Korea Selatan. Italia imbang lawan Paraguay. Dan nasib Prancis juga sama dengan Inggris serta Italia. Siapakah kandidat pembawa pulang trofi Piala Dunia tahun ini?
